The Affordable Care Act is becoming a Reality, actually, it is more like a nightmare for me. I received notification this week that my insurance premium will more than double.
I know the doomsdays sayers on FOX said it would happen, but we all just kind of patted them on the head as you would a small child and said "Yes, dear". Well, the proof is in the pudding. Take a look at my "notice" and my September billing.
My September premium is for 2 months, my "notice" only covers 1 month. Basically, I will have to sell an additional $250,000 home EACH YEAR to cover the difference in price. So head on down, you all, and buy a place in the Keys. Oh, and PLEASE don't ask me to cut commission, I can't afford to!
Now, how long until I am eligible for Medicare????
